Contrarium is a god spell that summons a large expanding area that applies the following effects:
- Mana charge (G) is disabled
- Forcefully remove any Sagitta Sol archers
- Forcefully disable Sigil Knight/Sigil Knight Commander and Wraith Knight charges as well as preventing their usage while inside the area
House affiliation does not protect from the effects, everyone inside will be affected. While casting, the caster is left unable to move. Cannot be backfired, will only sizzle.
Snap Contrarium[]
Snap Contrarium creates a blue ring where everyone affected in it cannot charge their Mana for an extended period (Around 10 seconds). Unlike its normal counterpart, this spell does not work in a temporal space, but applies the effect instantly. When backfired, this prevents the caster from charging mana for 10 seconds.
Snap Contrarium is a very polarizing snap, and is best utilized against classes that utilize mana a lot to fight. A good thing to note is that it will prevent a Sigil Knight for using their charges, a Dragon Sage from using their dashes, a Faceless from dashing, and Oni from demon stepping consistently. It's also good against mages, and has very little cooldown.
- Snap Contrarium is widely thought as the single most deadly and overpowered snap in Khei. Many uber classes cannot survive and attack without mana, making them an easy prey. If you get hit by it in a fight, all I can say is good luck. (cap all the mages are fucking flying how do you snap contra when you're in the air??? and
