EXP/XP/Experience is a very important mechanic of Rogue Lineage. You require XP to obtain classes. 1 Hit is equal to 1 XP not true it's based on dmg, using a mithril sword vs a bronze sword on a round of zscrooms gives the same exp, use a mithril sword if you want to do exp faster, it might attract the Gaia dwellers though.
Useful Ways of getting XP[]
There are the main ways people get XP. Here is a list:
Zombie Scrooms - Found in the Sleeping Forest. This is the most common place in the community to farm experience.
Shriekers - Zombies Found in The Crypt of Kings or summoned by Necromancers. Not recommended if using fists or a dagger, since you'll most likely die quickly, but if you do hit the shrieker you're farming 3/4 times and block then repeat. You can farm shriekers with a spear, as long as you keep your distance and have good sense.
Players - Usually not a main XP source, but more commonly used as a secondary one, for example when getting grips or rots.
Useless Ways of Getting XP[]
There is no real reason to farm XP with these. There is no reason to farm XP on these, unless you're just doing it for the sake of doing it.
Howlers - Pretty much useless. They have low health, so it makes them even more useless. If you make just one mistake while fighting these, it can break bones too.
Evil Eyes - There is no reason to farm these. They can give you insanity, which is very dangerous when fighting. Only a good method of getting exp if your race has iron mind, robot mind or unbreakable (ex: Metascroom, Gaian, Dzin, and Lich if you somehow obtain that)
